2024 saw Kiwi employees and employers feeling the pinch of the recession. Knowing this stress bleeds into every facet of modern life, One Plus One and health and life insurer, nib New Zealand, wanted to paint a picture of just how workers are faring and how employers can step up their game.
We teamed up with nib and the EMA to launch The Workplace Wellbeing Survey for the third year, with insights canvassing 1,200 Kiwi workers. We kicked up the earned media activity by distilling the results into three themes with a dedicated PR push for each.
The first highlighted the impact of the cost of living crisis on health, the second looked at employee benefits, and the third focused on job insecurity. We positioned key spokespeople from nib and the EMA as credible experts in interviews, while case studies offered a human perspective to the numbers. With a launch event, extensive earned media, social media activity, eDMs and more, the final results were outstanding and surpassed our KPIs.
